From timid volunteer to confident leader reflecting on my journey through SIGGRAPH and what it meant to step up and give back.

In 2024, I attended my first SIGGRAPH conferences as a Volunteer, North America in Denver and Asia in Tokyo. What started as a recommendation from a professor turned into one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

On May 6, 2023, I graduated from UIC with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Art. It was a day full of smiles, memories, and a reminder of just how much growth can happen in four years.
